Should I Add a Second Photographer?
We recommend adding a photographer if...
1. You are getting ready in separate locations and want getting-ready coverage.
2. Your guest count is over 75.
3. You want the best possible coverage.
What is Double Knot's Photo Style?
We emphasize capturing candid, authentic moments, and editing in filmic, natural colors. That being said, our photo editors are able to easily adapt to any style or preference. Simply provide sample photos as guides.
How Many Photos Will I Receive?
Each package including a lead photographer will deliver a minimum of 60 edited photos per hour via full resolution, downloadable gallery.
Second photographers or photo/video shooters will deliver 30 edited photos per hour.
Felicia was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Her love for the camera began when she was just a little kid. She spent a lot of time with her grandparents growing up, and her grandpa was always taking photos. Felicia absolutely loved posing for the camera. Eventually, she learned how to use little Kodak cameras and would take one almost everywhere she went. She was always the friend taking pictures at sleepovers and the cousin making everyone pose for silly photos at the holidays.
In high school, Felicia started taking photography more seriously by joining photo journalism and having all of her friends model so she could practice with the Canon Rebel her dad got her for her 15th birthday. She ended up enrolling at the Art Institute of San Antonio to get her BFA in photography. She graduated in 2018 and won multiple awards, including one for best portfolio in her class.
Felicia is always looking to capture the perfect moment. Some of her favorite photos at weddings have been during moments that were totally unplanned with no time to adjust her settings, shooting and hoping to get just one good shot. It's so worth it when she sends the photos to the client and they are shocked by photos they didn't even know she was there capturing.
In addition to weddings and engagements, Felicia absolutely loves portraits and fashion photography and takes on all sorts of projects year-round. She also works for the San Antonio Museum of Art, capturing events and documenting special exhibitions, new art pieces, and galleries. She enjoys working for the museum a lot as it is one of the most relaxing parts of her photography career.
Outside of photography, Felicia loves painting and crafting, going to markets and shows to support local artists, hiking with her dog Bailey, collecting records, swimming, and cooking for her friends and family.
When photographing a wedding, Felicia is most interested in telling the story of the entire day through her images. Her style is candid and journalistic, and she likes to photograph things as they happen naturally. She will rarely step in to pose or direct an image and is always after real emotions, perfectly timed moments, and finding beautiful light. One thing that's even more important to her is making sure her clients feel comfortable around her, so she always makes an effort to let them know she is also a friend in addition to being their photographer.
